Overview The European Centre Golf Course
The course surrounds the geographical centre of Europe that was established in 1989 by the scientists of the French National Institute of Geography. They produced the definition of Europe’s geographical centre and with the method of gravitation centers' proved that the continent’s geographic centre is in Lithuania, north of Vilnius, in the vicinity of Purnuškės village. The fact is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.

The golf course of the European Centre Golf Club is distinguished by its unique location, convenient
communication and a landscape that ideally meets golfers’ needs. The course occupies an area of 83
hectares. The overall length of the course is 6600 m, which is it possible to play a round in 72 strokes.
The course has been designed in such a manner that it would not be too difficult for beginners and
would give an opportunity to master all the necessary skills. Professionals it is given an opportunity to
play an extremely complex game, as numerous water hazards, such as Lake Girija, numerous natural
ponds, channels and other natural obstacles do not let one lose his or her concentration for a second!
The unique landscape of the course gives the players an opportunity to use all the clubs in the bag.
